Custom Swing-out carrier rack: Wider and Flatter.
CNC Plasma cut our of a single sheet of aluminum.

Initial Test Fitting after plasma cut, bending and welding lips
Because the new rack is much wider the gas tank hits at its current location and needs to be lowered 3 inches: Testing size and position with plywood prototype.
The new width also brought up a problem of support. I needed to fabricate a new support arm for the overhanging rack. Taking advantage of the lowered gas tank I already needed an extension arm so I created a support from the extension.

Test fit after welding and punching bolt holes.
